Jul. 19th, 2004 09:53 am Stangeness, as usual

Last night I got a strange call from my aunt. It seems that her sister sent her a manilla envelope full of pictures of me growing up. It's a long story but her sister is no longer my aunt. Years ago I wrote a letter to this person asking for my pictures and I never got a reply nor any pictures.
When my aunt called me and told me this it triggered something. I'd dreamt about something having to do with this person no longer my aunt and my childhood pictures. It's unusual in the sense that it was somewhat a profetic dream but not unusual in the fact that I always have those kind of dreams. So it's disturbing yet it's not. I'm looking forward to getting my pictures, though. She had one of me at the only dance I went to in high school and I don't have any of those. I hope it's in there. She's also got pictures of me in dancing school when I was four years old. I'm wearing a tutu and matching hat in all rainbow colors. It was for a recital I was in in which we danced to Kermit the Frog's song "The Rainbow Connection" from The Muppet Movie. I really, really hope that's in there. I'll be really disappointed if it's not.

Gee! What a surprise! I was really hoping I could have her sign something for me. Why is she even there? That's it, Ryan, we're getting stocked with rotten tomatoes that day!

Jul. 1st, 2004 06:44 am FULL OF JOY!!!

Yesterday I got the greatest news! Howard Stern is coming back to San Diego!!!! I read the news article yesterday and it was the greatest news I've had in a long time. I've missed him so much. I think my work productivity has even gotten worse because of not hearing him in the morning. Yesterday afternoon Matt told Pete that Howard's going to the Planet, not the same station he was on before. And this morning I turned on the Planet and heard a commercial saying he's coming back on July 19. That is going to be the greatest week! I'll have my Howard again and I'm going to Con!!!

Jun. 22nd, 2004 07:31 am It could be worse...

I have a great job. Really, I do. I have my own office. I'm making okay money. I get bonuses twice a year. I have good hours, working a lot of overtime (making more money). I'm pretty much left to my own devices. I like most of the people I work with and I get along with the people I don't. I'm allowed to be moody, I'm allowed to yell at superiors that are being stupid and don't know how to do their job and don't respect me and could give a crap about what anyone else in the office does. It has its moments but all in all it's not a bad gig.
But it's not what I want to do and so it grates on my nerves to even be here. I hate it! I hate the design firm that my company works for, they're a bunch of complete morons and they treat us like second class citizens because we're they're contractors and because they can. I hate getting up in the morning.
All I wanna do is go home and not have to be bothered with the outside world.
This place zaps all my energy. When I get home at night I can't do anything but sit there and watch t.v. and eat dinner, then read until I fall asleep-which is pretty quickly. The radio is playing Echo and the Bunnymen's version of People Are Strange, which makes me want to go home and watch The Lost Boys.
I just hope people leave me alone today! Yeah right!
And my right boob keeps itching!

Jun. 16th, 2004 06:30 am Willy Wonka the Child Molester

This morning when I was getting ready for work Pete was flipping channels and came across the very end of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It's at the part where Willy Wonka takes Charlie and Grampa Joe up in the rocket thingy. And he says to Charlie, "Do you like my chocolate factory, Charlie?" The way he said it I heard:

Willy Wonka: Do you like my penis, Charlie?
Charlie: I think it's the most wonderful penis in the entire world!
Willy Wonka: I'm glad you like it, Charlie. Because I'm giving it to you.

That dirty, dirty man!

Jun. 14th, 2004 08:18 am GRRRR!

38 days until Con. I can't wait! I think I'm going to have kittens before July 22 gets here. Of course, if I do have kittens I'll never have to work again. I'll go on Sally Jesse Raphael on the show entitled "People Who Are Allergic To Their Children." Unless they come out to me Minx cats and then I'll name them all Egyptian names and crawl up in my basket and go to sleep.

Jun. 8th, 2004 06:01 am Got a new toy!

I've been thinking about getting a digital camera for a long time now but didn't want to spend the money just yet. Finally after the excitement of finding out last week that I can go to Con all four days I really wanted one to use. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to go, I only have one day of Paid Time Off to use but my boss decided to give me both Thursday and Friday off since I've been busting my ass lately. On Sunday Pete and I went to Best Buy so I can spend some money on him for his birthday. I, yet again, found myself in the digital camera section. Sunday evening I talked to our friend Dan, who just bought a digital camera himself and is the type of person that researches and researches before he actually buys electronics, and he gave me some idea of what the best ones are. Pete was off yesterday so he picked me up from work and took me to Best Buy. I found the one I wanted for $250 plus I picked up some accessories that the salesperson gave me 10% off of. I can't wait to go home tonight to play with it. I didn't have enough time to play with it last night.

Now, I'm gonna get a little mushy. Today is the birthday of one of the most important people in my life. Happy Birthday, Ryan! I'll give you belated spanks this weekend when I see you. I just have to say to you one thing on this special day. You complete me. You had me at hello. Love is a long and slendor thing. And finally, don't be schticky. Don't be schticky, Jew. I hope you take these heartfelt words of wisdom and stick them up your lilly-white ass.
